What you’ll do
Reporting to the Site Financial Controller, the Finance Business Partner is responsible for playing a critical role in our business. Your responsibilities will include:
- Establish yourself as a trusted partner of the business, driving accountability to achieve business objectives with rigor whilst being valued by Finance colleagues and working collaboratively.
- Business strategy and decision support, challenge key forecasting assumptions and deliver expert financial analysis of performance, forecasts, key risks, and sensitivities.
- Provide financial support on scenario planning/investment decisions.
- Drive the budget and forecast activity on-site with the collaboration of the offshore finance team.
- Working with all stakeholders to ensure financial results accurately reflect performance and lead the change to drive performance improvement.
- Improve business acumen across sites and partner with businesses to drive business benefits.
- Reinforce financial control framework activities in identified areas and drive accountability and results.
- Working with other Finance team members to drive consistency in the approach to data, files, analysis, and reporting.
Essential for the role
- Qualified finance professional (or equivalent).
- Experience in Finance Business Partnering.
- Experience working in a global pharmaceutical organisation/understanding of the drug development life cycle and/or commercial aspects.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, including oral & written.
- Excellent Interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrable knowledge of global and corporate business context.
- Experience in SAP and Excel to support business decision-making (budgeting, forecasting & modelling).
Desirable for the role
- Worked in a finance team in a manufacturing facility.
