As the Financial Crimes Reporting Analyst you'll collaborate with the Financial Crimes and Risk Reporting teams to drive ongoing enhancements across all facets of Financial Crime reporting. This involves spearheading the development, coordination, and contribution of crucial content to a spectrum of Financial Crime Risk reports, ensuring comprehensive and actionable insights.
What you'll do
- Contribute to the development, refinement, and coordination of Financial Crimes, risk, and other reports for submission to Bank, Group, and Board Risk Committees, ensuring clarity and accuracy through meticulous writing and editing
- Employ strategic critical thinking to discern trends, draw conclusions, and formulate recommendations for senior management, synthesizing information from diverse sources into concise formats to provide actionable insights
- Identify areas requiring further investigation and in-depth analysis to support the Bank's Chief Risk Officer (CRO) in managing both existing and emerging financial crimes risks effectively
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders to ensure alignment and accuracy in reporting requirements, fostering a cohesive approach to risk management and decision-making processes
- Continuously evaluate and refine reporting methodologies to enhance effectiveness and relevance, staying abreast of industry best practices and regulatory requirements to uphold the Bank's commitment to robust risk governance
What you'll bring
- Business/Commerce of relevant degree (desired)
- 5+ years in a financial institution, specializing in reporting and analytics
- SQL, SAS coding and data mapping (highly desired)
- Experience in Financial Crimes, particularly in Anti-Money Laundering (AML) / Counter-Terrorist Financing (CTF) (desired)
- Ability to provide clear, insightful observations to the Executive Leadership Team (ELT)
