Senior Power Bi Reporting Analyst

Experienced Power BI Reporting AnalystThis role is open to candidates from Brisbane, Melbourne, and Sydney. Please kindly note that only candidates who possess AU citizenship/ PR will be considered at this stage.Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced PowerBI Reporting Analyst to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a pivotal role in driving data-driven decision-making processes through the development and implementation of advanced reporting solutions. • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements.
• Design, develop, and maintain PowerBI reports and dashboards.
• Utilize DAX to create complex calculations and measures.
• Implement semantic model design best practices to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
• Lead and facilitate workshops with business users to identify reporting needs and opportunities for improvement.
• Document requirements, specifications, and technical designs.
• Guide the Report Development life cycle from conception to deployment.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and successful project delivery.
• Apply CI/CD processes and tools to maintain and enhance reporting solutions.
• Utilize agile delivery frameworks (e.g., SCRUM/SAFe) to deliver value iteratively and incrementally.
• Prioritize tasks effectively and work autonomously when required.
• Foster strong working relationships and collaborate effectively within a team environment.

Requirements:

• Extensive experience in PowerBI development is essential (at least 5-7 years of continuous use)
• Proficiency in writing DAX calculations.
• Strong background in semantic model design within PowerBI.
• Demonstrated experience in requirements elicitation and documentation.
• Familiarity with the Report Development life cycle.
• Comfortable leading and facilitating workshops with business stakeholders.
• Sound knowledge of CI/CD processes and tools.
• Experience with agile delivery frameworks such as SCRUM or SAFe.
• Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a proven ability to work collaboratively.
