About the role
Eastern Health Finance Department provides financial support to the hospitals under Eastern Health including financial transactions, financial analysis and reporting, accounts payable, patient accounts, treasury, capital, budgeting and forecasting. This role is pivotal in developing process improvement within the Financial Department and the broader Health Service where applicable. The successful applicant would work with the Financial Controller, Director of Financial Services and other leading financial and non-financial managers to develop and manage improvement projects.
About you
To be successful in this role you will possess:
- At least 10 years’ experience in a Financial Accounting or Management Accounting role
- A relevant degree and CA or CPA qualification
- Good understanding of project methodology
- Highly developed interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong IT skills particularly with MS products and power BI and other automating tools
- The ability to work as part of a diverse team.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
