About the Role:
The Finance Manager will be responsible for but not limited to the following:
- Complete month-end accounting activities, including preparation of General Ledgers (GL), reconciliation and investigation of all GL's and reconciling items in a timely manner.
- Work with the executive team to efficiently develop and maintain budgets on an annual, quarterly and monthly basis, supporting the business strategy.
- Prepare and analyse monthly and year to date reporting, including P&L, balance sheets, cash flow, budgeting and tracking forecasts to actuals.
- Manage day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, posting, and recording accounting data.
- Drive the efficient and accurate completion of the month-end billing process for clients – including subscription, usage analysis and reconciliations.
- Payroll management.
- Contribute to ensuring the business fulfils our statutory responsibilities, including the preparation of IAS, BAS, and other returns.
About You:
- As you report directly to the CEO, we require an applicant who has worked in a small company in a broad role from month-end ownership to strategic analysis & deliverables.
- A proven track record of success in developing and implementing financial strategies.
- A fantastic work ethic, a desire to learn new things, and someone who can take initiative as the business grows.
- Excellent knowledge of financial regulations and accounting principles.
