We have a rare opportunity for a personable and highly skilled finance professional to join the finance team as our Finance Manager. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, you will have the following responsibilities:
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the CFO to ensure finance is viewed positively by the operations team by enabling supportive working practices.
- Collaborate with the CFO to ensure finance team processes evolve in line with the growth and changing nature of the Group.
- Manage the day-to-day financial operations of the Group.
- Lead the day-to-day management & skills development of the finance team.
- Identify and implement improvement opportunities in the operations & processes of the finance team.
- Manage the month-end process, including preparing accurate and timely draft financial statements for all entities in the consolidated Group.
- Ensure balance sheet accounts are reconciled in a timely manner.
- Prepare the draft quarterly BAS for review.
- Manage vendor finance plans & monthly direct debits.
- Manage the accounts payable payment plan.
- Assist the CFO in developing cash forecasts for the Group.
- Work with external stakeholders to support the operations of the Group.
- Support other members of the finance team during peak workload times.
To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate that you have the following experience and skills:
EXPERIENCE / SKILLS
- Previous Finance Manager experience (min 5 years)
- Flexible approach and experience working in a fast-paced and complex organisation
- Degree in Accounting with CPA/CA qualifications or progress towards
- Customer service experience and/or significant experience in building and maintaining business partnerships (working relationships)
- Outgoing and personable nature.
This role offers a competitive salary of up to $140,000 plus superannuation and the opportunity to have a positive impact on our finance operations.
