An opportunity for a Finance Manager - Analysis and Planning to join a Government Body in Melbourne's CBD. The role will commence as a 12-month contract and be Part Time (3 days p/week). There may be an opportunity to be extended or to transition into a permanent role.

Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following but not limited to:
- Cost benefit scenario Analysis and advise stakeholders
- Business Planning and Financial Planning
- Reporting to support strategic decision making and drive strategic decision making
- Lead the Business Partnering and analytic team
- Coordinate and partner with internal and external stakeholders applying technical expertise
- Manage the Analytic function to deliver short term and long term financial planning through robust financial models to provide annual budgets and forecasts whilst adhering to accounting standards
- Provide monthly financial reports to ELT with concise financial dashboards and commentary and options on financial sustainability for ELT and the Governing board to allow stakeholders to make informed decisions
- Tender evaluations and contract reviews
- Process and system improvement initiatives
- Other ad hoc duties as required by the CFO
Profile
The successful candidate will be / have:
- Experience in a similar role for 3 + Years
- Excellent communication skills
- CA/CPA Qualified with relevant tertiary degree
- Proven ability to manage a team
- Intermediate to advanced excel skills
