Day to Day
- Oversee all aspects of the Finance department, including the leadership of a small team (4) of finance professionals
- Develop, implement, and monitor appropriate financial systems, procedures and internal controls to support the efficient operation of the finance function
- Perform project costing and analysis. Monitor performance in close collaboration with Project Managers
- Provide cash flow forecasting and analysis
- Drive the automation and improvement of the online procurement system and strengthen cost controls. Upskill a dedicated Cost Controller and ensure technology solutions align with best practice.
- Work closely with the executive team to develop and implement the company’s strategic plan. Utilise your commercial intellect to drive results
- Provide analysis / performance insights that aid growth, ensure appropriate resource allocation and or deliver cost efficiencies
- Provide regular commentary around variance to budgets and forecasts
- Hold accountability for the improvement of management reporting and processes.
- Ensure timely monthly reporting
- Maintain responsibility for meeting all statutory obligations

About You
- You act with integrity and display a high level of care for the people you work with

- You have completed CA or CPA qualifications
- You’re a problem solver, analytical thinker and decision-maker.
- Previous experience in a ‘project based’ environment would be advantageous (construction, engineering, mining, etc).
