Full time, fixed term opportunity for a Finance Manager to join Faculty Finance until Sep 2025Join an award winning and collaborative team with hybrid working arrangementsBase Salary $117,116 - $132,079 + 17% superannuation About the opportunityWe are looking for a Finance Manager, with a strong analytical background, to join the Finance Services division. You will provide operational financial management, advice, analysis, reports, services and solutions. Utilising your highly developed partnering skills, you will be providing expert assistance and guidance in relation to all the financial affairs and resources within your client portfolio. Your key responsibilities will be to:partner with key leaders within your client group to contribute to the development of annual client plans that identify the current key issues and needs for the portfolioprovide insights and decision-making support through advanced accounting and management reporting, performance analysis, financial modelling, and commercial advicesupport your clients with the implementation of strategic transformation and change initiatives and ensure the successful implementation and realisation of key outcomesmaintain and champion compliance with Procurement and Finance policies and procedurescontribute to continuous improvement and new initiatives.About youexperience working as a Finance Manager within a large and complex organisation (tertiary sector is highly desirable)proven ability to provide operational financial insights, sound financial management, decision support, advice and analysis to a varied client groupstrong commercial and business acumenextensive experience in building complex financial modelsadvanced analytical skills and experience working across large and complex data setsproactive engagement with key stakeholders in the client portfolio to ensure effective and efficient financial administration and managementoutstanding presentation, communication and influencing skills and the ability to operate with tact and professionalismdemonstrated capability in navigating across a complex (matrix reporting) enterpriseexperience in interpreting, applying and integrating complex financial policies and procedures, external requirements and accounting standards.To keep our community safe, please be aware of our COVID safety precautions which form our conditions of entry for all staff, students and visitors coming to campus.Sponsorship / work rights for AustraliaPlease note: Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
