About the Role
Reporting to the Regional Mining & Minerals Finance Manager, the Northern Operations Finance Lead will be accountable to:
- Prepare monthly reports including year to date cost budgets
- Review and reconcile monthly accounting activities in the appropriate systems
- Prepare financial statements and analyse financial reports
- Present recommendations to the business
- Lead, develop and motivate the NOps finance team
- Maintain the financial systems, controls, processes and reporting mechanisms in accordance with relevant legal and regulatory requirements plus Company policy and standard business processes
- Liaise cross -functionally and support with various departments within NOps and the wider finance team
About you:
To be successful in your application you will ideally need to possess:
- A passion for reporting and analysis of financial data to maximise unrealised business opportunities
- A Bachelor’s Degree or Higher in Accounting/Finance or equivalent
- Management Accounting experience highly regarded
- Effective communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to Work effectively across functional teams
