About the Role
With respect to all operating controlled entities/associates:
Accounting & Reporting:
- Preparation of a monthly KSFfinance sections of the Asset Management report for circulation to Directors and shareholders
- Preparation of monthly / quarterly / semesterly unaudited reports (including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements)
- Preparing consolidated balance sheet and profit and loss statement at the KSF level on a monthly basis
- Preparation of annual KSF financial statements
- Preparation of all reporting requirements of the KSF entities as prescribed in the respective Trust deeds, including annual audited financial statements.
- Overall accountability for the accuracy and reliability of the trial balances for all entities responsible for.
- Preparation of the KSF element of the monthly and quarterly reporting to head office (Coperf)
Transactional matters
- Manage Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, organize payments, monitor collections in a timely manner, for all KSF entities).
Tax:
- Manage monthly and yearly tax compliance, which is largely outsourced to Tax Advisors, by providing outsource suppliers the necessary information within reasonable timeframes. Maintaining and checking monthly - a taxation compliance calendar for all entities responsible for.
- Reviewing BAS and CITR for responsible entities before lodgment
External & Internal Audit:
- Assistance with the external and internal audit process of all entities responsible for in Australia
Budgeting, Cost Control:
- Preparing the Long Term Plan (“LTP”), annual budget and forecasts for KSF group
- Tracking budget variances monthly
- Working with Asset Management on reporting preparation and other financial data as required for internal or external communications.
Cash Management:
- Preparation of a monthly rolling cashflow forecast for the KSF group, including actual V forecast analysis each month
- Identifying with asset management material cashflow payments in advance so as to ensure sufficient funds to pay exist
- Assisting in monitoring bank balances and cash needs for the KSF entities
- Managing intercompany cash payments/receipts
Payroll:
- Being a back up for the monthly payroll preparation.
General Assistance:
- Managing and acting as the first point of contact for external auditors, tax agent, payroll agent, corporate secretary, banks, and other professionals for all corporate compliances and corporate actions if any
- Liaise and organization of access to banking and other softwares & systems
- Assist Management on other matters when required
- Compliance and Internal Control:
- Contribution to improving internal Accounting & Finance processes
- Ensuring compliance with Group policies and rules
With respect to the Corporate function including TotalEnergies Renewables Australia and Development entities:
- Weekly Settlements
- Acting as a back-up resource to step in and perform the weekly settlements if required, including ensuring accuracy and completeness of the Invoicing process (AR) for projects in Operations with respect to KSF, performing a quality review of calculations and invoices produced.
- Assisting the Finance Manager - Corporate
- Assisting as required the accounting function of the corporate entities within the group
Reasonable other duties as required.
Qualifications and experience
- At least a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance from a reputable University.
- CPA/CA qualification will be highly regarded.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in Audit/Finance.
- Experience working in the Renewable Energy industry will be highly regarded.
- Strong excel skills, attention to detail, and accurate.
- Excellent communication skills including written and in presentations;
- Ability to work to your own initiative / self-motivated; and
- Able to travel nationally as required.
