Now seeking to recruit a Finance Manager on a part-time basis (preferably 3 days per week however open to alternative arrangements circa 24/25 hours per week). This is a newly created position that would involve ownership of the Finance function, managing the end-to-end Financial Operations for the business, and providing commercial advice to the business leaders on financial matters.
The Role
Key responsibilities may include (but not limited to) the following:
- Manage and oversee all financial operations of the company, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
- Cash flow management
- Prepare financial statements as needed, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Collaborate with senior management to develop financial plans, budgets, and forecasts to support strategic decision-making and business growth.
- Provide financial analysis and insights to support key business initiatives, including pricing strategies
- Coordinate and liaise with external auditors, tax advisors as necessary to ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
- CA / CPA qualifed would be preferred but may be able to consider candidates with extensive experience without the qualification
- Previous experience working as a Senior Accountant or Finance Manager
- Deep understanding of financial operations and commercial experience analysing budgets and financial performance
- Construction / project management understanding beneficial but not essential
