Are you a finance professional with a passion for the great outdoors? Alpine Resorts Victoria is seeking a dynamic Finance Officer to join our team supporting the Falls Creek resort and be a key player in managing the financial success of our thriving alpine experiences.The opportunity:
  
Established on 1 October 2022, Alpine Resorts Victoria brings a sector-wide focus and strategic leadership to the management of Victoria’s six alpine resorts. Falls Creek, one of Victoria's premiere alpine resorts, invites you to become our Finance Officer and be part of a unique experience where career growth meets the magic of the mountains. You will be working with the resort’s finance team, providing accurate and timely financial, payroll, governance, and other financial services. Please note that we can offer flexible working arrangements for the right candidate i.e. remote working.

What we’re looking for:  

• Degree or Cert IV in Accounting, Finance or Economic or equivalent knowledge, skills and experience
• 1-3 years’ experience in public sector or other corporate finance administration role or similar
• Previous experience working in accounts payable and receivable and payroll
•  Knowledge of accounting systems and associated use of excel and accounting-specific software
• Ability to manage a range of competing demands, prioritise these and manage expectations
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. 
• Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy.
