The Opportunity
We have a fantastic opportunity for someone with asset accounting experience to join our Capital and Assets Accounting Team as a Finance Officer. The role is within a friendly and collaborative team and requires someone who is willing to collaborate, share knowledge and commit to learning complex processes. The ideal candidate will have exceptional communication skills to provide a high level of customer service, especially when dealing with complex and sensitive issues.
Guided by our values, you will:
- record capitalisation of costs from work in progress and create assets in the asset register;
- reconcile the asset register to the general ledger;
- maintain the assets register details;
- complete monthly depreciation/amortisation processes; and
- provide advice to stakeholders on asset accounting issues.

Eligibility requirements
- You have experience in financial and asset management systems in a medium to large organisation.
