Metro South Finance are looking for a Finance Officer to join their team. The Finance Officer is responsible for the management of the delivery of a broad range of professional financial services and the provision of expert advice to a diverse client base. Based at Eight Mile Plains, this role is Full-time for 11 months.

About the Role
- Develop and maintain appropriate policies, procedures, guidelines and systems to facilitate Metro South Health's effective financial management.
- Contribute to the achievement of Metro South Finance outcomes by participating in the identification of emerging issues, the provision of strategic input on relevant issues, the preparation and analysis of financial reports in a timely and quality manner.
- Provide expert advice to finance staff in Metro South Health in relation to Financial Accounting and financial management.
- Assist in the management of general ledger operation in particular the management of the balance sheet accounts, bank reconciliations and taxation reporting related tasks within the prescribed requirements.
- Contribute to the preparation of the Annual Financial Statements and preparation of other external financial reports ensuring statutory obligations are met.
