Finance Officer

About the role:

Reporting the Chief Financial Officer the Finance Administrator will manage all aspects of accounts receivable and payable. Your role will extend beyond finance, providing essential administrative support to various departments. This is an exciting opportunity for a self-driven, motivated individual to thrive in a vibrant team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage Accounts Payable and Receivable processes.
• Data entry, payments, and reconciliations.
• Conduct Credit Card and Bank reconciliations on a daily and monthly basis.
• Perform periodical reconciliations of general ledger accounts.
• Assist in the preparation of BAS and payroll commitments.
• Process monthly tenant invoices and maintain accurate records.
• Prepare and input journals as required.
• Maintain and reconcile petty cash float.
• Provide support to the CFO and assist with year-end information.
• Ensure an orderly accounting filing system is maintained.
• Ad-hoc administrative support to reception, and other clerical support as and when requested. 

Key Requirements: 

• Passionate about finance and eager to contribute to a collaborative team.
• High attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Diploma, and or higher education in Accounting / Business Administration and or equivalent.
• Previous experience in an accounts administration / book-keeping role is desired.
• MYOB experience is preferred.
• Technology Savvy and proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
