The School Financial Resourcing Unit is excited to announce an opportunity for a dynamic individual to join us as a full-time temporary Finance Officer until 31 December 2024, unless otherwise determined. As a Finance Officer, you will have the chance to:
- Take charge of a variety of operational tasks related to multiple appropriations and allowances managed by our dedicated team.
- Offer operational guidance and support to diverse clients within the department while collaborating within a dynamic, multi-disciplinary team dedicated to delivering exceptional financial services.

About the Role
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Process payments through the School Appropriation and Payment Application (SAPA) including undertaking data validation and document management.
- Assist with labour related data management and analysis in relation to school-based salaries.
- Provide support for the processing of applications for allowances.
- Identify a need for information and respond to requests for information by appropriately gathering and sourcing information for analysis, completing analysis, providing technical support and producing reports.
