Finance Officer

Synergy Group is seeking multiple Financial Operations Officers. These are 6 month Contract opportunities to work with one of Synergy’s Federal Government Clients. Due to the nature of the work our clients require, to apply you must be an Australian Citizen with an Active AGSVA Security Clearance or ability and willingness to obtain.
  
Skills Required:

• Sound experience of and knowledge in delivering financial operations support in Commonwealth Government in:
  • Accounts payable, and/or
  • Accounts receivable, and/or
  • Treasury.
• Ability to meet deadlines;
• Commitment to accuracy and attention to detail, and the ability to effectively prioritise work in a high-volume working environment; and
• Understanding and knowledge of Commonwealth government reporting requirements and compliance with accounting standards.

Security
Due to the nature of Synergy’s work and clients we serve you must be an Australian Citizen and hold or be able to achieve an Australian Government security clearance Baseline (minimum).
