Finance Officer
Page Transport is a Tasmanian family owned business with depots in both Tasmania and Victoria. We have a modern fleet of prime movers and trailers, moving both livestock and general freight containers, locally and interstate.
We are looking for our new team member who will be a wiz in helping us manage our Accounts Receivables and Payroll. This role reports to our Finance Manager and primarily you will be focusing on accounts receivables and payroll, but you will also be asked to assist with other finance tasks including bank reconciliations, month-end processes, accounts payable and ad hoc finance and operational projects.
You’ll need to understand how numbers work, have the ability to question when something doesn’t “add up”, understand processes, have good attention to detail, excellent communication skills, the ability to “get things done” and have the care and commitment to work with a great team of people.

YOU COULD BE THE ONE IF YOU HAVE:
- 1-3 years experience in Finance Officer / finance administration roles.
- Accounts receivable / payable / banking / general ledger
- Intermediate computer skills, Xero, MS Office Suite.
- The ability to move your way around spreadsheets & word documents
- The ability to pick up systems and processes quickly
- The desire to work collaboratively in a team within a fast-paced, agile environment
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE:
- Accounts receivable and payable functions.
- Processing Payroll and associated regulatory reporting.
- Experience with XERO and MYOB software.
- Experience with month end processes and reporting structure
