We are on the hunt for a Finance Officer to join the Fox Creek Wines team.
Working closely with the Chief Financial Officer and the CEO, you will support the ongoing operations of the Fox Creek Wines management team, with a primary focus on the finance and administration function.
Responsibilities include:
- Monitoring of the finance email account – responding / forwarding as required to relevant people
- Input of invoices into Dext for review to post to Xero
- Preparing batch payments from Xero
- Contacting suppliers with regard to negotiating credit terms
- Reconciling receipts in Xero (Stripe, Vend / Lightspeed, sales invoices)
- Following up customers with regard to payment
- Credit Card reconciliations
- Set up of new employees in payroll system (Deputy & Xero)
- Fortnightly payroll
- Answering the office phone and responding / forwarding on queries as needed
- Assist with the ordering of office equipment and amenities.
About you
You are an organised, professional person with a strong attention to detail. You take initiative and communicate well. You will be a team orientated person, who is willing to roll-up their sleeves in all aspects of the operations.
You may have experience in some or all of the above areas, and will be willing to adapt and learn the remaining parts of the role – we will provide guidance and learning opportunities.
The successful candidate will have:
Experience in a similar role, including familiarity with bookkeeping procedures. Customer / supplier relationship management will be held with high regard.
Intermediary to proficient skills in the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) and in financial systems are required (Xero experience advantageous).
A full Australian driver’s licence and Australian Permanent Residency are required.
The position is 0.6 FTE, with flexibility of hours to suit the operations and the right candidate.
The role will be based at Fox Creek Wines in McLaren Vale, with flexibility to work from home also.
