From its head office and manufacturing operations located in Gloucester (NSW), Drifta encompasses 2 websites, 2 warehouses, 7 retail stores and an expanding Australia-wide dealer network.
Due to pending retirement, Drifta is seeking a Finance Officer working out of our Gloucester HQ.
The Role
Reporting locally to the Inventory & Procurement/HR Manager in the Finance Services team located at the Drifta Group’s headquarters based in Gloucester (NSW) and working in concert with the remote based Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Company Accountant, the primary responsibilities of this Finance Officer role include:
- Reconcile banking/daily store takings and dealer payments
- Assist Inventory and Procurement manager with processing international payments and domestic accounts payable
- Weekly payroll processing
- Assisting inventory management within our Retail Express ERP/POS system
- Finance projects as required
Profile
Drifta is seeking an experienced bookkeeper/Finance Officer with strong analytical skills and experience working in SME’s.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Cert III/IV in accounting/bookkeeping or strong relevant experience in this area.
- Broad finance skill set (payroll experience would be an advantage), able to work independently and the ability to manage workflow in a dynamic environment
- Proven ability to meet deadlines and follow tasks through to completion
- Strong Excel and ERP skills (working knowledge of MYOB would be an advantage)
- Strong communication skills and be comfortable interacting with stakeholders across the business
- Comfortable working with a remote team, whilst having local support.
The Finance Officer role will be based in Drifta’s Gloucester Headquarters with flexible hours (32-38 hours per week).
