Our client, a small trade-focussed Australian Government agency, requires an experienced APS6 (equivalent) Finance Procurement Officer for a 4 + 12 month contract.
Duties
Lead and assist in the delivery of services- the review and analysis of financial and procurement activities, business processes and reporting.
Develop, coordinate and contribute to relevant briefing and reporting products and any other related materials.
Monitor government policy and strategic developments, as it relates to the roles and responsibilities to maintain currency of knowledge and experience.
Support and develop productive relationships with Government agencies, industry organisations and businesses.
Selection Criteria
Strong digital literacy awareness and confidence in the use of digital tools to solve problems, be productive, and collaborate with others in a digital
Well-developed written and oral communication skills, and an ability to communicate complex and technical concepts succinctly.
Strong attention to detail and ability to apply well developed analytical and problem-solving skills to achieve outcomes.
Demonstrated ability to use initiative with resilience, and ability to manage competing and changing priorities while contributing to a positive work environment.
Demonstrated ability undertake work with a moderate level of complexity and sensitivity under limited guidance.
Formal qualifications and/or experience with legislative and governance frameworks and best practice with regards to the Commonwealth Procurement Rules.
