PM-Partners is currently seeking an experienced Finance Project Analyst to join our team and be responsible for creating, managing and coordinating the core project management activities and artefacts for our Queensland government client who is currently experiencing a surge in demand from customers.
As a result, our client is undertaking a major digital transformation as it increases the breadth and depth of the investment in its Technology services to meet this demand.
Location: 3 days on-site Brisbane CBD with 2 days WFH flexibility
Duration: Initially 3 months with longer term extensions likely for the right candidate
Daily rate: $700 - $800 including super
To be considered for this position you will have experience and strengths in the following:
- 5+ years proven experience in delivery as a Project / Finance Analyst
- Experience with program budgeting and finance processes
- You will have extensive financial systems experience
- Strong understanding of document interrelationships between product catalogues, pricing, ordering, invoicing, fulfilment, payment, accounts receivables and reporting.
- Demonstrated experience with governance and reporting, financial reporting and analysis, risk and issue management, planning and scheduling
- Skillful at people, coordination and good at numbers and reporting
- Experience establishing tracking processes for project correspondence and requests for information
- Strong history delivering Recruitment/Procurement Artefacts, Process documentation, Memos & Other Correspondence and Meeting Minutes/Actions
- Strong understanding of current-state finance operating processes and reporting practices.
- Strong demonstrated ability to lead workshops and work directly with solution stakeholders
- Work directly with and between stakeholders and solution development teams for requirements elicitation and refinement.
- Industry standard Project delivery / methodology certifications are highly desired
