The Position
We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Specialist, with an eye for detail and a strong grasp of payroll legislation and practices. If you're proactive, have a passion for what you do and take pride in your work, then we want you on our team!
Key Responsibilities:
- End-to-end payroll for our International and Australian workforce
- Utilise your Excel skills with payroll spreadsheets and analyse payroll data, generate reports and identify discrepancies.
- Provide technical advice and solutions for Payroll matters
- Handle payroll-related queries from employees, site administration, Management and external parties, providing excellent customer service and resolving issues promptly.
- Maintain payroll records and ensure data integrity and confidentiality.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders, including ERP and Finance teams, to ensure seamless integration of payroll processes.
- Assist in training team members and monitoring service levels
- Stay updated on changes in payroll regulations and industry best practices, making recommendations for process improvements.

- Proven experience as a Payroll Specialist or Senior Payroll Officer with expertise in Australian end-to-end payroll processes.
- A switched on team player with a friendly demeanor.
- Intermediate to Advanced skills in Excel
- International payroll experience will be highly regarded
- Excellent attention to detail and a strong numerical aptitude.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively and build relationships at all levels
- Strong problem-solving abilities with the capacity to handle complex payroll issues.
- High level of confidentiality and integrity when handling sensitive employee information and a strong work ethic
- Able to pass a pre-employment medical assessment, drug and alcohol screen (DAS) as well as random DAS once employed.
