Adelaide Venue Management (AVM) operates three of Adelaide’s most iconic and commercially successful event venues - Adelaide Convention Centre (ACC), Adelaide Entertainment Centre (AEC) and Coopers Stadium. In addition, AVM is the proud presenting partner of concerts and functions at The Drive.
AVM is currently seeking an experienced, talented and motivated Finance Support Officer to join its Finance team, working out of our corporate offices located on the Riverbank at the Adelaide Convention Centre. Reporting to the Finance Manager Business Services, you will provide financial and business support to the Finance Department, other AVM Departments and external stakeholders ensuring all financial tasks are completed efficiently and accurately with outstanding customer service.
The position also serves as a back-up role to Payroll - including the weekly processing of the casual payroll and fortnightly processing of the full-time payroll, amongst other things.
To be successful in this role you will ideally possess the following competencies and personal attributes:
- Strong attention to detail
- Demonstrated experience in Debtor Management
- Previous experience in processing Payroll (end to end – including end of year)
- CHRIS21 and/or HumanForce experience desirable but not essential
- Ability to work autonomously, adapt to changing workloads and meeting deadlines within specified time frames
- Investigative skills and ability to problem solve effectively
- Intermediate level Excel skills
