Position Overview: The Advanced Finance/Project Officer will play a crucial role in managing high-volume invoice processing, supporting the finance team, and leading the implementation of new financial tools and systems. The ideal candidate will have advanced skills in spreadsheet management, a strong background in finance, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process a high volume of invoices accurately and efficiently, maintaining a quick turnaround time of 7 days or less.
- Provide support to the finance team, including training on invoice processing procedures and troubleshooting issues.
- Lead the rollout of new tools and systems
- Utilise advanced spreadsheet skills for data analysis, reconciliation, and reporting.
- Perform regular reconciliations of financial data to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
- Apply a strong understanding of accounting principles to manage financial transactions and maintain accurate records.
Qualifications:
- (Desired)degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a similar role, with expertise in high-volume invoice processing and financial reconciliation.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant financial software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with team members and stakeholders.
- Ability to project manage a new computer portal and provide training.
