AddressWe are looking for a self-motivated, driven and enthusiastic Financial Accountant to join our fast-paced Finance department. This permanent role will report to the Group Financial Controller and will be instrumental in promoting the role of Finance as a valued and trusted business advisor within the company.

Key Responsibilities of this Role Include:
- Posting journals, managing month end close processes and responsible for balance sheet reconciliations.
- Preparation of monthly financial and management reports and analytics.
- Finance business partnering with the senior management of the business unit and treasury
- Assisting in the preparation of statutory financial statements, completion of external audit functions and liaising with the external auditors.
- Assisting with budget preparation and forecasting.
- Assisting with implementing, maintaining and improving internal financial controls.
- Assisting the accounts receivable/accounts payable functions.
- Assisting with daily banking approvals
- Completing the Group's tax reporting (GST/BAS/FBT compliance, group and subsidiary tax returns etc.).
Who Are You
To be successful in this role you will possess:
- Degree in accounting or equivalent.
- Professional accountancy qualifications (such as CPA or CA) preferred.
- Two plus years' experience in a similar role or Big 4 experience.
- Demonstrated expertise and understanding of accounting principles and internal controls.
- Excellent people and communication skills.
- Willingness to get into the detail and help other team members.
- Team player with an enthusiastic attitude and a willingness to learn.
