Launch is excited to be working with a premier global consultancy who are seeking a Financial Accountant on an initial 6 month daily rate contract.The Role:
The successful Financial Accountant is a senior member of a team responsible for monthly reporting alongside strategic initiatives.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Complete monthly accounting and reporting process as required including balance sheet reconciliations.
- Assist Senior Financial Accountant with mentoring team members.
- Process month end journal entries for Corporate and Business Units.
- Maintain adequate internal controls to ensure the integrity of the General Ledger and associated processes.
- Participate in the half-year and year-end reporting cycles including assisting with preparation of financial statements and analytics.
- Prepare profit and loss and balance sheet support schedules for the half year and year end Business Unit Reporting Packs.
- Identify, recommend and manage business process improvement for the financial accounting team.
- Completion CA or CPA qualification.
- Big 4 background is preferred.
- Minimum 4 – 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Experience with large ERP system preferred.
- Compliance driven mindset with strong reporting and big data capabilities.
