Reporting to a supportive Financial Reporting Lead with a dotted line to the GM Finance, this is a excellent development opportunity as you will gain exposure to a wide variety of activities and become an instrumental member of the team from the outset.
Key responsibilities include;
- Provide support around half year and year end reporting obligations, including the preparation of financial statements.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly consolidated financial reports.
- Provide technical accounting support in relation to latest accounting standards.
- Build strong working relationships with Finance Business Partners and other business groups to ensure consistent high quality accounting and finance practices.
- Prepare and process monthly journals as required, including provisions and accruals.
- Support process improvement initiatives across the finance team.
- Assist in annual insurance renewal process.
- Maintain compliance policies and procedures
