About You
Olivet Care is seeking an enthusiastic Accountant to manage a small Finance Team. You will have a ‘can-do’ attitude and an eye for detail. You will enjoy working in a team environment and be passionate about establishing and maintaining strong relationships across the business.
Duties of the role
- Assist with the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reports
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations
- Prepare and lodge BAS
- Compile data for budgets and the year-end external audit
- Maintain the Fixed Asset Register
- Supervise the Finance team including Payables, Receivables & Payroll functions
- Maintain internal controls for financial transactions
What you will need to be successful
- Finance, Economics or Accounting bachelor degree
- Membership of an Australian Accounting body
- Minimum of five years’ Accounting experience, ideally in the Aged Care sector
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word & Powerpoint
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent administration and organisational skills
- Alignment with the organisation’s values
- NDIS Screening Check
- Police Check
- 3 COVID 19 and Flu Vaccinations evidence
- Have full Australian working rights
