Hays Gippsland is now seeking an experienced Financial Accountant to join our amazing client's team in a full-time 3-month position (potential for permanent for the suitable candidate) based in Pakenham!
This position will see you reporting to the Finance Director and working collaboratively across the business.
Your new company
This Australian-owned manufacturing organisation specialises in tailored cladding and screening solutions to meet diverse requirements. They are experiencing rapid growth and are after a Financial Accountant to support their expansion.
Y ou will be responsible for the following:
Preparation of monthly financial reports covering balance sheet, profit and loss, internal management reports and cashflow statements
Manage the general ledger
Completion of monthly journals and schedules
Assist in the preparation of GST, FBT, Payroll and Corporate Tax returns
Prepare budgets and forecast reports
Liaise with external auditors
Additional duties as requested
What you will need to succeed:
CA or CPA qualification
Bachelor's degree in accounting
3 to 5 years' accounting experience
Commercial acumen
Analytical mindset
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent attention to detail and ability to delve into data
Proficiency in CRM systems and Excel
