Financial Accountant - Overheads & Recharges
Description:
Our client seeks a Financial Accountant in North Sydney to support the Finance Manager - Overheads & Recharges. The role involves ensuring accurate tracking, management, recording, reporting, and forecasting of corporate overheads profit centers in alignment with the budget. Effective business partnering skills are essential for providing support and guidance to various stakeholders.
Location: North Sydney
Contract: 2-month contract initially - temp to perm opportunities.
Pay Rate: $61.55/hour
Requirements:

• Degree qualification in Accounting/Finance.
• CA or CPA qualified.
• 3+ years' experience in a similar role.
• SAP experience required.
• Proficiency in IT, experience with Power BI and BPC preferred.
• Strong financial planning and analysis knowledge.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare overhead reports for corporate overhead profit centers, ensuring accuracy and adherence to budget/forecast.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure accurate recording of costs within budget/forecast.
• Provide insights into performance factors and recommend improvements to support decision-making.
• Process recharges accurately and timely, aligning with budget/forecast where applicable.
• Review and prepare Blackline balance sheet reconciliations to maintain balance sheet integrity.
• Reconcile prepayments, accruals, and other balances, resolving aged items promptly.
• Assist with purchase order requests and goods receipting.
• Prepare budgets and quarterly reforecasting with variance analysis and commentary.
