As part of our growth, we are currently seeking an experienced Accountant in a permanent full-time capacity. The role is responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing financial reports, preparation income tax returns and general accounting tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Approval and payment of all received invoices
- Approval of all care workers timesheets and processing for payroll
- Payment of all statutory and legislative chargers
- Input into quotes and agreements for clients
- Management invoicing for home care packages
- Management of client budgets and hours scheduled
- All standard bookkeeping task in Xero
- Management of all budgets in VisualCare(CRM)
- Generation of all finical reports for the Board of Directors
- Preparation of financial reports when required
- Day to day management of all debtors and creditors
- Budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management
- Income tax returns
- Auditing
What we are looking for:
- Degree level qualification in Accounting or Commerce
- CA/CPA qualification
- 3+ years relevant experience within an accounting practice
- Experience in accounting software packages like Xero
- Ability to navigate accounting systems and streamline business processes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Intermediate to advanced excel skills
- Excellent attention to detail and highly organised
