Financial Accountant

Lifestyle Plus Group and Police HomeCare Services provides independent disability and aged care services and are a registered NDIS and Aged Care provider. Our approach is person-centred, and we strive to deliver high quality support services to help our clients achieve their goals.

As part of our growth, we are currently seeking an experienced Accountant in a permanent full-time capacity.  The role is responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing financial reports, preparation income tax returns and general accounting tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Approval and payment of all received invoices 
• Approval of all care workers timesheets and processing for payroll 
• Payment of all statutory and legislative chargers
• Input into quotes and agreements for clients 
• Management invoicing for home care packages 
• Management of client budgets and hours scheduled
• All standard bookkeeping task in Xero
• Management of all budgets in VisualCare(CRM)
• Generation of all finical reports for the Board of Directors 
• Preparation of financial reports when required 
• Day to day management of all debtors and creditors
• Budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management
• Income tax returns
• Auditing  

What we are looking for:

• Degree level qualification in Accounting or Commerce
• CA/CPA qualification
• 3+ years relevant experience within an accounting practice
• Experience in accounting software packages like Xero
• Ability to navigate accounting systems and streamline business processes
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Intermediate to advanced excel skills
• Excellent attention to detail and highly organised
