Your unique contribution
We are currently recruiting two Financial Accountant positions (permanent + contract) to join our Financial Services team based in Adelaide CBD. Reporting to the Senior Financial Accountant, you will be assisting with financial reporting requirements, be responsible for financial reporting systems maintenance business partnering and cost control for certain business units across both the Australian and New Zealand businesses.

Your responsibilities include:
Assist with financial reporting by preparing quarter end reports, annual statutory statements for Australia and New Zealand, and supporting the year-end accruals process.
Perform general ledger tasks including system maintenance, journal entries, and monthly close activities, while also being the primary contact for system-related queries.
Manage balance sheet reconciliations for specific accounts, ensuring timely resolution of discrepancies.
Support external audit processes and provide backup support for month-end tasks to the Senior Financial Accountant.
Act as a finance business partner for PRW budget holders, overseeing SGA, coordinating forecasts, and providing financial analysis and support.
Responsibility for export sales reporting and forecasting including the preparation of transfer pricing calculations (contract role only)
Your perfect blend of Talent

Tertiary qualifications in accounting, finance or related discipline with preferably membership to an internationally recognised accounting body.
Experience in a chartered accounting firm or the finance department of a large corporate organisation
Experience with PowerBI and within the FMCG industry would be advantageous.
Good problem solving, reconciliation and analytical skills
Proven experience in and desire to work with systems and a willingness to participate in systems related projects
Good communication skills with proven experience in business partnering
