We're on the hunt for a dynamic and passionate Financial Accountant to enhance our financial management and take the lead on all things accounting and finance within the business. This full-time position is rooted in our Southbank office, embracing the philosophy that face-to-face interaction fosters quicker, more effective outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the AP & AR functions.
• Conduct weekly and monthly reconciliation and payments.
• Manage Balance Sheet Reconciliations.
• Lead the End-of-Month (EOM) process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Uphold the integrity of the General Ledgers.
• Complete Monthly/Quarterly Business Activity Statements (BAS) for lodgement.
• Prepare monthly financial reports.
• Support payroll operations.
• Handle preparation and lodgement of monthly payroll tax.

What You Will Bring

• A relevant tertiary degree and CPA certification (completed or in progress).
• A minimum of 3 years' experience in a finance team.
• Strong communication skills.
• High attention to detail.
• SAP experience is required; Xero, Fathom and Zoho Books knowledge is beneficial yet not required if you are a fast learner of Software programs.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
• A proactive approach to improving processes.
