As a Financial Accountant at InStitchu, you'll play a pivotal role in managing the day-to-day financial operations. Working closely with the Head of Finance and Operations, you'll contribute to the company's growth by ensuring accurate financial reporting and analysis.
Responsibilities will include:
- Oversee profit & loss, balance sheet, and cash flow management.
- Supervise offshore finance team members.
- Manage the month-end closing process, including journal entries and reconciliations.
- Assist in the preparation of board meeting packs and monthly financial reports.
- Drive annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-term financial modelling.
- Monitor financial performance metrics and manage cash flow effectively
- Ensure compliance with audit, tax, and statutory obligations.
- Implement hedging strategies and manage insurance policies.
- Collaborate on cost-reduction initiatives and procurement strategies.
- Review purchase and stock levels of key bulk fabrics and shipping charges.
- Assisting Head of Finance on other ad hoc tasks as required.
The Ideal Candidate:
- CA/CPA qualification with a bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- Minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience, ideally from a Big 4 background.
- Strong Excel skills and attention to detail.
- Proactive with problem-solving abilities and able to work under tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Team player with a motivation to excel in a dynamic work environment.
