Financial Accountant

NOOSA | FULL TIME (38 hours) | 12-Month fixed term contract with possibility of extension or transfer

Are you an experienced Financial Accountant seeking an exciting opportunity in the stunning Noosa region? Look no further! Hays, in partnership with a leading hospitality provider, is thrilled to announce a vacancy for a Financial Accountant to join their dynamic team. 

Your new role 

• Collaborate with Department Managers to create annual budgets and monthly forecasts.
• Ensure accurate financial data is provided to the General Manager and owners.
• Oversee and enhance financial systems to streamline processes.
• Implement policies and maintain effective internal controls.
• Timely completion of weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
• Work closely with Department Managers to improve departmental profitability.
• Represent the Financial Controller in Department Head meetings while maintaining confidentiality.

What you'll need to succeed 

• Prior experience in the hospitality industry is essential.
• Hold a relevant degree.
• CA or CPA qualification preferred but not mandatory.
• Confident in learning new finance packages and strong Excel skills
