- The opportunity to choose between 17% and 11% superannuation
- $1,500 personal development budget
- Exceptional parental leave
At UniSuper, we value and celebrate diversity and inclusion in our workplace, where everyone can thrive. We believe that having a variety of perspectives, backgrounds, interests, abilities, and skills is crucial for delivering great retirement outcomes to our members. We invite you to apply for the roles that suit your career aspirations, even if you don't meet all the requirements listed.
The opportunity
Due to several internal promotions from Select Advice across to our Comprehensive Advice team, we are now looking for a Financial Adviser to join our Select Advice business unit. With the complexities of our UniSuper products (including a Defined Benefit) and investment portfolio (including Sustainable options), in this role you will provide limited advice that is more challenging than your typical Intrafund advice role. Our Select Advice meetings are mainly virtual, with some by phone. This role will be based in Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane.
Reporting into a Senior Financial Adviser you will be a part of a high performing team within a growing super fund. Referrals are qualified before coming to you and our service is low cost. You will be responsible for writing your own SOAs (on Xplan) which means you have full control over your diary. Thorough scoping of an advice need is required at the start of every meeting; however, your advice will help our members answer three questions:
- What investment option is right for me?
- How much insurance should I have?
- What is the best way for me to contribute to super?
About You
We are looking for individuals who have worked in fast moving transformation environments and who are comfortable working with a degree of ambiguity. You are an experienced associate adviser or Financial Adviser, and you enjoy building relationships and providing excellent service. Mandatory requirements for this role are:
- You are currently on the advice register
- You have successfully completed the FASEA exam
We're passionate about sharing knowledge with our members and our employees, therefore we believe that a balance of working from home and time in office with your colleagues is the best way to collaborate and build relationships. We ask you to be able to commit to 60% of your time in office.
Think Great. Create Great.
