Current opportunity
Our Sydney wealth advice business is currently seeking an experienced Financial Adviser to join our Private Wealth team.
Working within a highly technical and ethical team you will be supported by excellent support staff to allow you to purely focus on delivering the very best advice to your clients.
Role and responsibilities
Will include:
- Provide holistic strategic and investment advice to an established book of clients
- Develop and implement personalised wealth management strategies including investment recommendations, retirement planning, tax planning, debt management and estate planning
- Assist clients with often complex decisions around the best way to protect and grow their wealth and structure their investments
- Work closely with support staff to implement advice
- Undertake business development to assist with growing the existing client book
- Stay updated with latest market trends, economic developments and industry regulations to provide informed and up-to-date advice
- Support and mentor financial planning staff
Professional attributes:
- Previous experience in advice with a minimum of 5-10 years providing financial advice in the areas of superannuation, investments and insurance
- FASEA qualified (or near qualified) and on the Financial Adviser Register
- CFP desired
- Excellent with client relationships
- Demonstrate highest ethical and professional standards
- Strong compliance history
- Ability to present and engage with internal and external stakeholders
- Builds internal and external networks that generate new client relationships
- Monitors and manages adviser workflow through effective delegation to team
- Strong work ethic
- Be a team player
