Job Description
As a Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for:
- Developing, analysing, and monitoring budgets for various government programs and projects
- Analyse financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas of concern or improvement.
- Look into the financial risks associated with government projects and programs, develop risk mitigation strategies, and monitor risk exposure to ensure the agency operates within acceptable risk tolerances.
- Prepare financial reports and statements summarising the agency's financial performance and position.
- Being part of a systems transformation project whenever necessary
- evaluating financial performance throughout the grant or contract period, and ensuring compliance with funding requirements.
To be successful in this role you will need to:
- Have a strong background in Financial analysis
- Have a Degree in Accounting or Finance
- A CPA qualification
- Ability to work 5 days in the office
