Role Summary
End-to-end finance role the financial controller is the number one finance position. You head up everything numbers and commercial based; budgets, forecasts, cash-flows, strategic planning; statutory reporting, tax, month-end. You also manage a small, close-knit finance team.
About the Role
Responsible for all business case support through high-quality analysis and recommendations
Responsible for all budgets, forecasts, monthly management accounts, variance analysis, P&L management
Responsible for all technical and financial accounting matters; month-end, year-end, tax, balance sheet preparation and reconciliations
Responsible for day-to-day running of the finance team. You will be hands-on but at the same time empower people who work for you to be comfortable with their delivery
Skills & Experience
CA or CPA Qualified with a strong track record in a broad accounting position
Experience working in a leadership position essential, one where all the accounting function report through
Ideally someone who works for a small/medium sized business, understands broad roles and is comfortable being hands-on
High levels of competence around all written documentation and reporting as well as being able to present and talk to stakeholders
Final Summary
