AddressThis is a unique opportunity for an experienced Financial Controller to join a successful agriculture business operating on thousands of hectares of rich cultivated land in regional Northern Victoria. The organisation manages a diverse portfolio of investments backed by private equity. This newly created position is based on-site at their farm estate.
Position
Reporting to the General Manager, you will have full ownership of the finance function and drive strong financial and management reporting for the organisation. You will be responsible for month-end close, reconciliations, budgets and forecasts, tax and audit compliance, Capex management, preparation of annual financial statements, corporate governance requirements and improvements to systems and processes. You will also partner with divisional managers to and provide actionable insights for agriculture related activities.
Profile
You are relevant degree qualified and/or have your CA or CPA qualification. You are naturally passionate about the Agriculture industry and are a proactive Financial Controller who has previous experience working for an Agriculture related organisation. Extensive experience using Xero and advanced MS Excel skills are essential. You cultivate strong stakeholder engagement with your exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
