Financial Controller

Victory Organisation Group are now actively looking for a Financial Controller. 

Responsibilities will include: 

• Financial management, reporting and analysis, including the preparation of accurate and timely monthly results and ad-hoc reports.
• Preparation of financial statements, including BAS statements.
• Participating in budgeting processes.
• Overseeing administration and general payroll duties, including timesheets, commissions and bonuses.
• Working closely with Senior Management.
• Ensuring compliance with statutory and financial regulations.
• Conduct monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
• Initiate and maintain effective control procedures to ensure all assets, liabilities, income, and expenses are accurately recorded.
• Analyse and control expenditures of all departments to ensure compliance with budgetary requirements.

Our ideal candidate will possess the following: 

• A qualification in Accounting will be highly regarded.
• At least 3 years’ experience in a similar financial accounting role is essential. 
• Prior work experience in a Dealership setting and ERA experience will be advantageous. 
• Experience in report production and analysis of reports.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
• Comprehensive knowledge of accounting fundamentals.
• Extreme proficiency with all advanced Excel functions. 
• The ability to be self-motivated with proven time management skills to schedule workload to focus on key priorities and meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical mind with high attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
