Financial Controller required to lead a finance team in a busy hotel located in the heart of Cairns CBD.

A newly renovated family friendly resort in the heart of Cairns are seeking an experience and motivated Financial Controller to join and play a key role in their property portfolio.
Your new role
To be totally responsible for the efficient and effective operation of the Finance Department. To ensure that strong and open communication lines are maintained with the General Manager, Regional Financial Controllers and Owners of the Hotel. To ensure that all Senior Management adopt policies to maximise Departmental profit.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be a CA/CPA qualified Financial Controller with extensive experience gained from a fast paced tourism environment. You will have strong leadership skills with the ability to work at the strategic and operational level. You will be results driven with exceptional attention to detail and ability to meet project deadlines. Experience with Sun, Opera, HumanForce, WageEasy desirable, not essential
