The role:
Miller Leith are supporting the business on their search for a dynamic and experienced Financial Controller. Reporting into the Finance Director, the Financial Controller will be responsible for leading financial activities and operations to support the performance of the business. The Financial Controller will manage a small team and will oversee all financial aspects of various sites.
Responsibilities include:
- Lead and mentor a small Finance team
- Managing budgeting, forecasting and overseeing cashflow
- Review business processes to identify inefficiencies
- Tracking, reporting, and analysing budget variances
- Reviewing the company's financial statements to ensure they are accurate
- Preparing month-end reports for management, including margin analysis
- Preparing regular pricing reviews
- Preparation and review of existing and new product costing
Skills and Experience:
- CPA/CA Qualified
- At least 4+ years in similar Financial Controller or Senior Finance Manager role
- Experience in Manufacturing, ideally multi-site
- Experience with large ERP systems
- An agile and analytical problem-solver
- Natural leader and mentor
