The ideal candidate for this Financial Controller position will bring a wealth of experience from a broad accounting background ideally with a focus on SME business. A CA/CPA qualification is essential for this role, along with a strong understanding of compliance and taxation requirements. You will have excellent communication skills, enabling you to work with a broad range of people.
Responsibilities
- Lead the finance function of the fund, ensuring all financial operations run smoothly and efficiently.
- Work with each portfolio company to develop and implement effective financial strategies to support business growth.
- Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances.
- Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements.
- Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies (The Playbook) to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
Key to success in this role.
- 10+ years of combined accounting and finance experience
- CA / CFA qualification
- A personal interest and understanding of SME businesses.
- A growth mindset

Bachelor’s and University Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business. A CFA / CFA qualification
