SalaryAre you an experienced financial professional with a keen eye for detail and a passion for Real Estate? We are currently seeking a skilled Financial Controller to join a dynamic team at a leading Real Estate office located in Bowen Hills.
As a Financial Controller, you will play a critical role in managing the financial operations of the office, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across various functions. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and possess a strong background in accounts, trust account management, payroll, accounts receivable, and HR, we want to hear from you!
Remuneration:
The remuneration for this position is up to $150,000 plus superannuation per annum, depending on qualifications, skills, and experience.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all financial aspects of the Real Estate office, ensuring compliance with accounting principles and legal regulations
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, including timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and reconciliations
- Prepare and lodge BAS, PAYG and superannuation payments
- Maintain and reconcile trust accounts, ensuring compliance with trust account regulations and legislation
- Prepare financial statements, reports, and budgets, providing accurate and timely financial information to management
- Process payroll, ensuring accurate calculations, deductions, and compliance with relevant laws and regulations
- Collaborate with HR department on various HR functions, such as recruitment, employee onboarding, and benefits administration
- Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and other stakeholders to ensure compliance and address any financial queries or issues
- CPA or CA certification essential
- Proven experience as a Financial Controller or similar role within the Real Estate industry
- Solid knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and relevant legislation
- Work stability across previous work history
- Experience in MYOB, CRM's, ATO portals
- Experience with trust accounting and property management software is preferred
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Exceptional organisational and time management abilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team
- Up to $150,000 plus superannuation per annum
- Monday to Friday role only
