SalaryAccounting Financial Controller Melbourne Permanent / Full Time Super stable, long-standing & financially strong business Previous construction and/or development experience preferred Inner Northern suburbs location Our Client is a multi-faceted construction & development business that's been in operation for 10 years. They have several businesses within the group of companies, all turning over between $5M - $30M. They are looking for a Financial Controller to oversee the finance/accounting function of the entire Group. The role will be responsible for: High-level management of the Group's accounts, regular financial reporting, legal financial requirements, analysis of financial data, forecasting, regulatory reporting, monthly financial statements, creating budgets, risk mitigation, providing high level advice to ensure effective cash flow management and overall profitability. As well as the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements. Preparation of quarterly GST and other tax related activities. Management all statutory accounting, reporting and submissions as well as extensive liaison with the external accountants. The role will also manage the accounts department, which consists of AP and AR, payroll and administration. To be considered, the successful candidate will have formal tertiary level accountancy qualifications, ideally CA or CPA qualified. You will preferably had extensive previous experience within the commercial construction sector. In return, the successful candidate will receive a salary package starting at $150,000 - $200,000 depending on previous experience.
