We have an opportunity for an experienced Financial Controller to join us on a full-time basis at our Support Centre located in Camberwell.
About the role:
The Financial Controller will be required to provide regular governance and financial reporting, monitoring, analysing and management of finances for Menarock LIFE. The position also entails managing the ICT function and leading a small finance/ICT team.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
- Monthly financial reporting and analysis to the CEO and Directors
- Budget preparation
- General ledger reconciliations
- Statutory reporting such as BAS, Workcover and Payroll Tax
- Review of fortnightly payroll and authorisation
- Debtor management
- Management of group cash flows
- Bank reporting
- Liaising with external financial auditors
- Aged Care Financial and Prudential Reporting to Department of Health
- Leading and managing the ICT function.
About You:
- Appropriate tertiary degree in business, commerce, or finance
- CA/CPA qualified
- Minimum of five years postgraduate accounting experience
- Experience in managing a team of staff
- Strong background in budgeting, financial account preparation and analysis
- Strong Excel skills
- Aged care experience is essential
- Income tax experience desirable
- Right to work in Australia
