Financial Controller/ Manager

Our Client an Ethical E-waste Recycling Company in Derrimut, Victoria has an excellent opportunity for a qualified Financial Controller/Manager. This is a fulltime position. You will be closely working with the company directors and the CFO managing all aspects of the financial wellbeing of the business.

Role Responsibilities:

• Maintaining an accurate set of accounts which will facilitate the timely production of trading results and monitor all costs and payments.
• Managing the company’s financial systems (Xero) and modelling requirements
• Bookkeeping aspects including auditing and reconciliations
• Accounts Payable (Non-Inventory) and in future AP & AR from all aspects of the business
• Monthly BAS preparation and lodgment
• Half yearly and Annual reporting and forecasting for Banks
• Debtor management
• Cash Management and Forecasting
• Management Reporting
• Oversight of the month-end process including General Ledger and Balance sheet Reconciliations, and the production of the P&L and BL statements
• Work with the owner to manage projects that impact on the business
• Back Up Support for Payroll
• Ensure all activities are carried out in a safe manner and comply with company policies and procedures.
• Work with company leadership to identify learning/training opportunities for personal growth/improvement which benefit both you and the company
• Ensure company health, safety, environment and quality policies and procedures are taken into consideration

Experience & Qualifications:

• Tertiary qualification in Accounting and CA/CPA.
• Three years previous experience in the Financial Sector.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and analytical skills.

Salary rate will be $85,000 -$105,000 depending on experience and qualifications with significant opportunities to grow income.
